Ooops! Forgot to mention, you have to cut the corn off the ear to combine it with the other vegetables.

If you like mushrooms, you'll love this one.
2 portobello mushrooms
2 large ears corn, try to get young ones
1 bunch of asparagus
1/2 onion, chopped
1/4 large red bell pepper
sprinkle of two of salt
Sweet Basil to taste, 1 to 1-1/2 teaspoon ground
Wash the mushroom very well, stem and scrape out the gills in the under side. Cut into slices about 1/4 inch thick. Clean the asparagus, break off the tough part at the botton, then cut into pieces of desired length. Chop the bell pepper and onion in smaller pieces. Put all the ingredients in a hot saute pan with just enough water to steam good. Cover with a lit and cook on medium until asparagus is just tender. Very flavorful. If the vegetables are fresh and young, I can eat this without any salt.

I USE SUNFLOWER SEEDS IN PLACE OF PINENUTS IN PASTA DISHES. ALSO, IN MY RAW CEREAL EACH MORNING.

For others who are allergic to nuts (as I am) sunflower seeds work wonders as a substitute and the nutty texture and taste will still be in the food.
